Knowledge and skills of various glass films
Glass window cleaning tips:
An anti-scratch layer on the outer surface of the film is used to prevent damage to the film. However, care must be taken when cleaning the glass surface to prevent damage to the film that has been applied.
1. Use common household glass cleaner, or simple soapy water.
2. Do not use any materials containing abrasives, such as baking soda, etc. Be careful not to use sharp tools that may cut or scrape the diaphragm.
3. Dip the cleaning solution with a clean soft towel or artificial sponge.
4. Dry the glass with a soft cloth or rubber scraper.
Houseplant:
Generally speaking, the use of glass film has no adverse effects on most houseplants. Plants may be slow to grow and flower to regulate themselves for the first few days after filming. In a situation where the growth of the plant is continuous and prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause wilt, the plant will actually thrive when filmed.
What might affect the growth of the plant, do an experiment in the film money: move the plant to a less lighted area in the room to determine what the plant might be potentially affected. In addition, for some exotic flowers and plants, the architecture refers to the practice of local botanical gardens.
Film for the outside of the glass:
Sometimes, it is necessary to put film on the outside of the glass window, which can be caused by various reasons. Sometimes it is very difficult to access the inside of the glazing due to some fixtures, fittings or moving other things too close to the glazing (it is difficult to move between them and the glass). Another reason may be that the glass is a composite structure such as laminated glass. Due to the temperature difference, the glass will crack when the film is applied on the inside. Since these glass films are subject to harsh weather, their location is prone to rough handling, or their lifespan is limited due to careless glass cleaning. Generally, the quality guarantee period of the product will be shortened in this case.
Blinds:
Due to the design features of the shutters themselves, any membranes attached will look like exposed foundations at some stage. Additionally, shutters expose one edge of the glass and film to the outside atmosphere, which can cause the glass film to peel or erode along the edge. For this reason, an external dedicated diaphragm is used. The end user must be informed that it is unlikely that this type of film will have the same lifespan on glass as a normal glass on the inside surface.
Film on plastic:
Glass foils cannot be applied to acrylic or polyester windows unless they are specifically designed for this purpose. These are all plastic sheet products that have the potential to escape gas. Thermal radiation and visible light from the sun cause "outgassing" that can loosen chemical materials or allow plastics to absorb moisture. This escaping gas can loosen chemical materials or allow plastics to absorb moisture. This escaping gas can interfere with the glue system of the glass foil and cause blistering between the plastic and the glass foil. It's also worth noting that many glass film adhesive systems stick to the plastic permanently, if so, the film must be torn off, but it's impossible to do so without damaging the surface of the plastic.
